Qatar has been preparing to stadiums by maintaining them and also renovating them. Here are eight stadiums 2022 FIFA world cup will be played. 1.LUSAIL STADIUM
The Lusail is the biggest stadium in Qatar. This will host the final of the 2022 FIFA world cup. It ha the capacity of 80,000. Lusail Iconic Stadium will host ten (10) matches during the 2022 FIFA world cup, including the final match. On 22nd November 2022 will host first match to host of group C , Argentina vs Saudi Arabia. 2.STADIUM 974
Stadium 974 is made of recycled shipping container. It is temporary venue made to host matches during the 2022 FIFA world cup, after which it will be dismantled. It is the first temporary venue in FIFA world history. It has the capacity of 40,000. The stadium 974 will host seven matches during 2022 FIFA world cup. The first match will be of Group C on 22nd November, 2022, Mexico vs Poland and on 24th November, 2022, Group H, Portugal vs Ghana. 3.Al Bayt stadium
Al-Bayt stadium is a retractable roof stadium in Al Khor, Qatar. It has the capacity of 60,000 and is second largest stadium after Lusail Iconic Stadium. It will host first match of Group A, Qatar vs Ecuador on 20 November, 2022. It also host the semi-finals on 14th December 2022. 4.KHALIFA INTERNATIONAL STADIUM.
Khalifa International stadium, it is also known as National stadium. It is named after Khalifa Bin Hamad tower, Qatar’s former Emir. It has capacity of 45,416. 5.AL-THUMAMA STADIUM
Al-thumama stadium is located in Al-thumama, Qatar. The stadium has the capacity of 40,000. the first match to be played on is of group A on 21st November, 2022, Senegal vs Netherlands. 6.THE EDUCATION CITY STADIUM
The education city stadium is located in Al Rayyan, Qatar. The stadium is located within several University campuses at the Qatar foundation’s Education city. The stadium ha the capacity of 45,350 and it will host eight matches during Fifa 2022 world. First match will be of group D on 22nd November 2022, Denmark vs Tunisia.
7. AL-JANOUB STADIUM
The Al-janoub stadium is located in A-Wakrah, Qatar. And it is a retractable roof stadium. The stadium has the capacity of 40,000. it host seven matches during the 2022 FIFA world cup and the first match will be of Group D on 22nd November 2022, FRANCE VS Australia. 8.AHMAD BIN ALI STADIUM.
The Ahmad bin ali stadium popularly known as the AL-Rayyan stadium and the it is named after the Ahmad bin ali Thani, the Emir of Qatar from 1960 to 1972. the stadium has the capacity of 44,740. It will host seven matches during 2022 FIFA world cup, first match will be of Group B, on 21st November, 2022, UNITED STATES VS WALES.
