Jadon Sancho has not played for Manchester United United since 22nd October, 2022 when they played against Chelsea.
This is because of two reasons of which the first is due to illness and the second is because he hasn't been in form.
According to the reports, the Manchester United winger deactivated his social media accounts in order to put full focus on his professional life.
He joined Manchester United in July, 2023 from Dortmund. He was a key player to the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he wanted to strengthen the squad. But his quality was overshadowed by the return of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus.
So far , since joining the club last year, he has only scored 8 goals in 52 games played.
Jadon Sancho, did not make it or was selected by England manager, Gareth Southgate in the World Cup squad unlike Marcus Rashford who was selected. Sancho has been doing individual training in the Netherlands.
According to the Manchester United Official website, it was reported that he will not be among players traveling to play friendly games against Cadiz and Real Betis . The statement from Manchester United reads, "Jadon Sancho is continuing his individual training program.... as part of the process to get back to his highest level. The club is fully supporting him in this.
Though illness has reduced him the number of games he has played, Sancho is focusing on training to have a very good season after the World Cup. This season he has only played 52 minutes generally and only scored 3 goals across all the competitions.
